Dr. Obi Ogbanufe
Founder, Restarters Inc.
Obi Ogbanufe, PhD - Founder, Restarters Inc.
Dr. Obi Ogbanufe is a researcher and an educator. She is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in data mining, cybersecurity, predictive analytics, and data warehousing. She also conducts research in the areas of cybersecurity, risk management, artificial intelligence ethics, and smart technologies. She has worked in many technical and managerial roles in the private and public sectors. She also has experience in technology recruiting and has written many books in that area.
The vision for The Restarters started in 2016 but it was unclear to me concerning how and what to do. The clarity for The Restarters materialized in 2023 after months of coaching and prayers. I am thankful for the opportunity to use the resources I've been given to participate in others' lives

Keeya Vawar, a survivor of human trafficking in the early 90s, emerges as a beacon of hope amidst the growing despair. Her profound journey fuels a passion to empower youth and women, intricately woven into her own narrative of resilience against overwhelming odds. Functioning as an author, speaker, and advocate, Keeya possesses a compelling ability to forge genuine emotional connections, making obscure realities tangible for audiences both large and intimate. Her current endeavors revolve around advocacy and collaborative efforts with organizations dedicated to rescuing women and children from the harrowing human trafficking industry. Keeya extends her impactful presence to local schools, churches, and partnerships with anti-trafficking organizations, and businesses, leaving an indelible mark in both the USA and Africa.

Mariam U. Orji, MD, FACS
Director, Restarters Inc. General, Minimally Invasive, Robotic and Breast Surgery Board Certified, American Board of Surgery
Dr. Mariam Orji is a minimally invasive/Robotic trained General and Breast Surgeon, Certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Orji completed her surgical training at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, just after receiving her Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She holds a B.S. degree in Medical Technology from University of Texas Southwestern Allied Health Sciences School.

Restarter is a project that helps the chronically unemployed find or create meaningful work in the technology field in 60 – 120 days. We offer curated and tailored information technology training programs that allow the restarter to find in-demand work, allowing you to regain control and agency.
